While a Winter wedding may not sound like the most ideal, there are many couples that prefer having it planned during the coldest months of the year. Even though our Bucks County country club hosts many Spring, Summer, and Fall weddings, we have seen our share of those hosted in the Winter. Therefore, we thought it would be great to provide two ways in which a wedding held in the winter can be just as great as one planned during the other 3 seasons of the year.
The “Winter-Wedding Dessert” Options
Are you looking for some fall or winter-themed dessert options? Why not consider a s’mores bar?
While this might seem like a more Fall-themed dessert option, it can certainly be used for Winter weddings. With a s’mores bar, you will allow your guests to indulge in a warm, gooey, and chocolaty themed treat that is often meant to be enjoyed around a fire during a chilly night in the Fall or early Winter. Also, how about a hot chocolate bar? While hot chocolate can certainly be enjoyed during any time of the year, this sweet drink is often enjoyed when it’s the coldest outside.
Everything Is Often Much More Affordable!
We’ll be honest—Winter weddings planned at Northampton Valley Country Club are often much cheaper than those of which we plan in the spring or summer. Like we mentioned above, most people prefer the warmer months of the year, so the coldest days of the year are often the slowest for us. Plus, we are trying to fill our schedules as best as we can, so we often offer couples a nice little discount if they book a winter wedding with us.
